In fall, 2007, we were approached by Retreats Online and USA TODAY, in an email, asking if we would be interested in being included in one of their 10 Greatest features that they do regularly. This particular article would be featuring the 10 Greatest Spiritual Retreats in North America. Of course we were delighted.
We then received a call from the author of the article, requesting a phone interview so that she could put the article together. We interviewed with her for on the phone and she told us she would send copy to us when completed for our review, but that it would probably only be a couple of lines because of space limitation.
After 2 months, the little piece they wrote about us finally went to print and also in their online version.
Although it was only a short little blurb, the fact that they wanted to include us and it received world-wide exposure due to the fact that USA TODAY is an international newspaper in every news stand in the world, we feel honored that they chose us among the hundreds of Retreats they could have chosen.
